Not knowing whether it was a City of Aventura or Miami-Dade County responsibility when I first saw it, I placed a call at 3 p.m. to the City of Aventura (first the City Manager's office, then the Mayor's office) and was unable to get a human being until I called the city council's phone
number.
There, I got directed to leave a message for someone, and there's no telling how long it'll be before they check their messages.
The water is coming out from under the sidewalk fairly fast -albeit not a gusher- and there is a lot of flooding in the swale on the corner, so it's probably been leaking like that for many hours.
