Ocean Drive & Indiana Street, Hollywood Beach

Admittedly, the IU campus at Hollywood Beach isn't much to shout about, yet, but South Beach Hoosier has big hopes...

Note that the FDOT-installed street signs are STILL bent from the effects of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma in late 2005.

Unfortunately, most of the corner street signs on A1A from north of Hollywood Blvd. up to Sheridan are bent, some severely, and in some cases, such as the directional signs located in the median for popular streets along the beach, like Johnson Street to name the most obvious example, they are bent so much -almost 90 degrees- that they are unintelligible to visitors.

If someone over at Hollywood City Hall was paying attention to this sort of thing. Or perhaps the Hollywood CRA. But well, you know how it is over there. It's only been 17 months or so...
